Hingge is a Senior Advisor at CATALYSIS and brings over 30 years’ experience in venture capital, investment banking as well as corporate and business development.
He is a Partner at Nest.Bio Ventures with operations in Cambridge MA, USA and Hangzhou, China. Most recently, Hingge was a Senior Advisor to WuXi Healthcare Ventures where he co-founded LifeMine Therapeutics. Prior to that, he was a Partner at Fidelity Biosciences (now F-Prime Capital), where he was involved with various venture stage investments in the biotechnology and medical technology sectors in the United States and Asia. Before joining Fidelity, Hingge was a Managing Director in the Private Equity Group at Lehman Brothers and was responsible for their principal investment activities in the private and public sectors of the healthcare industry. From 1998 to 2001 he held the position of Partner at Schroder Ventures Life Sciences and directed their US investment activities in the life sciences and therapeutics sectors.
Prior to Schroder Ventures, Hingge was at Robertson Stephens and at Lehman Brothers, both in the Healthcare Investment Banking Groups. He also worked at Chiron Corporation and Gensia, Inc in the areas of business development and strategic planning.
He received an MD degree from Yale University School of Medicine and was trained in internal medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School. Hingge also received an MBA degree from Harvard Business School.
Hingge has served on the Board of Directors of a number of privately-held biopharmaceutical and medical device companies.
